The Salt Warrior 8″ Big Game Pliers feature a solid nose, crimps, cutters and made of Stainless Steel. We have put these pliers through a couple years of testing and they did not rust, corrode or fall apart. The stainless steel makes these pliers a little heavier than Aluminum, but gives you the proper leverage when removing a hook on a large game fish like Striped bass / bluefish. Like any tool used in saltwater, we do recommend rinsing them down with freshwater after a long day in the salt.
